Major building repairs and improvements, costing over $5,000, are funded through our contributions to the Capital Improvement Fund. Each year we designate a few high priority projects to complete. As additional projects are approved, this information will be updated.
#1 Classroom Technology Upgrade – Phase I
Estimated Cost of Project: $7,850
Reason: Current media carts are outdated, more and more media is required in classrooms. Kids Sunday school classes are struggling with equipment on a weekly basis
Description: All of the adult classrooms and currently used elementary/middle school classrooms will be equipped with a 50” LED TV, a DVD Player, and a wireless HDMI solution for wirelessly displaying content from a laptop. The TV will be wall mounted and will have a shelf attached underneath where the DVD player will reside.
We will also purchase 5 laptops that can be used in any of the classrooms to present curriculum. This is especially important in the children’s classrooms. These laptops would be checked out of a central location each time they are used.
