DR. STANLEY JOHN, Alliance Theological Seminary
Stanley John (PhD, Asbury Theological Seminary) is Assistant Professor of Intercultural Studies at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY. He is an author and serves on the U.S. Board of Directors of Langham Partnership, the Board of Directors of India Gospel Ministries, and is a member of the Lausanne Global Diaspora Network. Stanley is a licensed minister of the Christian and Missionary Alliance and serves as Teaching Pastor at Ridgeway Alliance Church. He and his wife, Eunice, and their newborn son, Philip, reside in New York City.
Dr. John will be speaking Sunday, November 4 at our 10:00 am service.
REV. DAVE JONES, Alliance Missionary to Brazil
Dave and Judy served as missionaries with The Alliance in Brazil for 31 years, working in evangelism, discipleship, church planting, leadership development, theological education and administration. They helped start two Alliance camps, as well as the Alliance Bible Seminary and the FATELA grad school. They have served with the National Office in Colorado Springs and local ministry in Wilmington, DE. Dave has written several books on prayer and missions and is currently working on a new A.B. Simpson biography to be published in early 2019. Dave’s has a broad knowledge of the beginnings of C&MA history here in Lancaster County and comes to share his insights on our 125th anniversary.
Dave Jones will be speaking Sunday evening at 6:15 pm for our 125th Anniversary celebration.
DARRELL & CHERYL, International Workers in Germany & the Middle East
Darrell and Cheryl have served as international workers with the Alliance, from Eastern PA, for 35 years. Over the years they have served in several middle eastern countries where they have been instrumental in working with nationals and Alliance teams to open women’s health clinics and community centers. Their gift of hospitality has opened the door for sharing the gospel of Christ in many Muslim settings. Most recently, they have served in Berlin, Germany where they have ministered to Syrian refugees and others through the Lighthouse Family Center.
Darrell and Cheryl will speak on Monday, November 5 at 7:00 pm.
Cheryl will speak to ladies and girls and Darrell to men and boys at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, November 6.
DONNIE & BLYTHE, Creative Access Workers in Eastern Europe
Donnie and Blythe, along with their children Isaiah, Katya and Levi, have served as International workers in Eastern Europe since 2006. Donnie and Blythe and their team have a vision to share Good News in word and deed and to see lives transformed so that ultimately, people will seek Christ and share Him with their family groups.
Donnie and Blythe will speak at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 7 and at our 10:00 am combined worship service on Sunday, November 11.
Donnie will speak at 8:00 am breakfast on Saturday, November 10.
